Zachary Stats
| Birth - November 20, 2004 | 5 lbs. 14 oz. | 19.5 inches | He's Perfect! |
| November 24, 2004 | 5 lbs. 2 oz. | He has jaudice & is a little dehydrated. He has to wear a bilirubin blanket (bright light on his tummy) for 2 days and start supplementing on formula. The jaundice goes away & he starts gaining weight. | |
| November 30, 2004 | 6 lbs. | 19 inches | 1st official doctor visit. Totally back on track, Dr. Moore is very happy with Zachary. He is in the 25th percentile for weight and height which is normal and great for a 4 week early baby. |
| January 20, 2005 | 10 lbs. 10 oz. | 22.5 inches | 2nd month visit, everything is great. Zachary gets 5 immunizations in 4 shots. He takes it better than mom & dad! He's running a little fever tonight but the tylenol should help. He is in the 25th percentile for weight and height still. |
| March 20, 2005 | 13 lbs. 3 oz. | 25 inches | 4th month visit & Zachary is up to 50th percentile in height but still at 25th for weight. He gets 4 shots but we started the tylenol an hour before the shots so he didn't have any reaction this time. Meg and Jake (his cousins) are both also weighing in at 13 lbs these days. He started rice cereal March 25th & is dong great. We will try oatmeal April 2nd and then on to barley and fruits and veggies! |
| May 20, 2005 | 15 lbs. 7 oz. | 251/2 inches | 6th month visit & Zachary is still at 50th percentile in height but still at 25th for weight. He got 2 shots & had tylenol an hour before the shots so he did fine. The next day he rolled over from his stomach to his back for the first time. Of course I was out of the room & missed it!Now I can't keep him still. The week he turned 7 month he started sitting up on his own without anything propping him up! Memorial Day weekend he cut his 2 bottom center teeth and is much happier now and almost sleeping through the entire night, which we greatly appreciate! |
| July 18,2005 | 16 lbs. 3 oz. | ||
| August 5, 2005 | 16 lbs 6 oz. | ||
| August 22, 2004 | 16 lbs. 12 oz. | 28 1/4 inches | 9th month visit and Zach is still at 50th percentile in height but down to 3rd for weight. The doctor is not worried as this drop in weight sometimes happens at this age if a baby isn't eating a lot of table food yet. He doesn't like much except cheerios, crackers and green beans but we are trying a little of lots of things. He started vitamins and that helped in bottle intake tremendously. |
| October 5, 2005 | 17 lbs. 8 oz. | He has his first cold and start antibiotics. He has 4 teeth on top and 2 on the bottom and is started 2 more on the bottom. Certainly looks different with all those choppers! He started to crawl today and got the hang of it immediately. Can't keep up with him now! Look for video soon! | |
